History
Olympic Fruit Company, LLC began packing operations in March 1995, the vision of four farming families, Mike Smith/ Loftus Ranches, Gamache/ Blackstar Ranches, Charron/ C&C Orchards, and Carpenter Ranches. Olympic Fruit has expanded its ownership base in the past few years to include the Cowin Family and Vincent Orchards. This ownership base is complemented by numerous growers whom are just as important to the continued success of Olympic Fruit as anyone.
Sage Marketing
Olympic Fruit has an exclusive agreement with Sage Marketing, LLC to market and sell its fruit. Sage Marketing was formed in 1999 by a combination of Olympic Fruit Company and Valley Fruit. Steve Clement is the general manager of Sage Marketing and he reports to an executive committee of individuals appointed by each member company. The executive committee meets monthly to review financial performance as well as sales strategy, pricing, fruit movement, etc.
Board of Directors
Olympic Fruit Company's affairs are managed by a Board of Directors consisting of five individuals, four of whom are representatives of the founding owner families. The fifth director is the Company's General Manager. The Board of Directors functions in a manner similar to a corporate board of directors.
General Manager
The General Manager is the chief operating officer of the Company and, subject to the direction and control of the Board of Directors, has general charge and supervision of the Company's property, business and affairs. The Company's current General Manager is Paul Koch.

 Paul Koch - General Manager, raised on family farm. Graduated from Whitworth College with a double major in Business Management and Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1983. Paul Koch joined Olympic Fruit in 1994 as Controller. Mr. Koch was promoted to his current position as General Manager in 1999. |
